DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY FOR GAS MANAGEMENT MEDEM SEMINAR PROGRAMME

In June, Medem shared their solutions to gas safety management with an audience of construction industry specifiers at the world-renowned Imperial War Museum North. The seminar presented by Medem Managing Director Chris Dearden provided delegates with advice on compliance with current gas safety standards relating to Medem products.

The risk of Carbon Dioxide levels affecting pupils’ ability to concentrate was discussed, since Medem are experts in supplying systems for use in education buildings. The Medem SACO2 carbon dioxide monitor enables compliance with the latest standards including the Department of Education building bulletin 101 (BB101). A power cut in a school boiler room can cost money and lost time, and the Medem APS-3 and SEC-B systems minimise this risk.

Medem also advise clients to use their monitoring products in commercial kitchens where incidents of gas leaks are high, ensuring maximum safety and minimum energy use.

Chris Dearden sees the seminars as the ideal opportunity to engage with Medem customers: "We support our product users and distributors with high quality technical and standards advice. Most importantly, we listen to what our customers say – and fine-tune the development of our products and services accordingly."
